Located on a quiet, leafy side street in central London’s elegant Belgravia neighborhood, The Goring is a luxurious boutique hotel fit for royalty—literally. Opened in 1910 by Otto Goring, this beloved, red brick and ivy-covered Edwardian property has witnessed some of London’s most historic events and played host to renown political figures, glamorous models, reigning monarchs, and many other members of The Royal Family. The Goring is the only hotel to be granted a Royal Warrant for its hospitality services by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Considered London’s last family-owned luxury hotel, The Goring is resplendent and regal, renowned for its unrivaled, impeccable service that sets the highest standards in hospitality while still imbuing a distinctly intimate touch that always makes guests feel at home. The Goring’s head Concierge “Big John” is a longtime superstar with guests and holds the keys to unlocking special experiences around London.

Quirky little details add a dash of warmth and humor to their stately setting, such as The Goring iconic wooden sheep spotted in their guest rooms and suites, a visit from Teddy, their loyal Shetland pony, and collection of black and white photography celebrating the property’s rich history. Guests are gifted the beloved wooden sheep to take home as a souvenir from their stay. The Goring is in itself a remarkable study of contrasts, as there is something quite irresistible about its particular blend of traditional elegance and cozy, whimsical atmosphere.
