Snowshoeing on the Ranch is an activity for the whole family to experience a more serene way of exploring the quieter stretches of the extensive trail. Trails run from flat, low-intensity terrain to steep, along 50-miles of groomed or ungroomed forest trails.
Medicine Bow Snowmobiling & Sledding:
Known as the local’s version of sledding, adrenaline-enthusiasts are in store for the ultimate adventure snowmobiling and exploring the untouched backcountry of Wyoming’s famed Snowy Range Mountains, which boasts 245 miles of groomed trails and over 180 miles of ungroomed trails. There an option to choose the duration and level of difficulty of your snowmobiling adventure. Excursions can be led by knowledgeable guide allowing you to totally immerse yourself in the experience. If you book by December 15th, receive a complimentary snowmobiling excursion for two.
Guests can revisit the thrills of childhood and their kids can make their own memories on amid spots that are perfect for sledding and tubing.
Ice Fishing:
Catch rainbow and brown trout ice-fishing in one of the six stocked, private ponds spread across the Ranch once the waters freeze over typically around December or January. The lodge and cabins at Brush Creek are outfitted with modern amenities and lavish accents to keep guests cozy during the winter season. From cowhide leather chairs to inlaid buffalo nickels, each accent accentuates the spirit of Wyoming in elegant rustic setting. During the winter season, accommodations are available in the grand Trailhead Lodge, select cabin suites, and the exclusive Homestead cabin residence. Ranch exclusivity is available for all accommodations, offering 16 rooms for up to 56 guests for a truly once-in-a-lifetime multi-gen vacation or group retreat.
The Homestead Cabin Residence, which itself accommodates up to 12 guests, is a favorite villa option for families or small groups. The 4,082 square-foot, two-story, hand-hewn log cabin offers three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, plus a full kitchen and dining area; living area with wood burning fireplace; private outdoor kitchen, patio and hot tub; washer/dryer; and stunning, rustic interiors with vaulted ceilings. It’s well-appointed setting is all just right for friends or families who love the amenities but prefer more privacy.

Dining at Trailhead Lodge during the winter season is a feast with bountiful breakfast of fresh baked cinnamon buns to menus featuring hearty fresh soups, greenhouse fresh vegetables, and savory, tender meats. Gourmet meals are paired with a serious wine collection to leave you feeling satisfied. All daily dining experiences include breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages with access to highly coveted premium beverages.
