Built in 1905, Hotel Palace Merano is one of the last surviving hotels from the Belle Époque era in Merano. In late 2005, the hotel was taken over by entrepreneur Pietro Tosolini, who lead the renovation of all 99 rooms and suites, as well as the pool, fitness center and spa. In the last three years, further work has been carried out to make the Hotel Palace Merano a true wellness flagship in Europe.

The mild climate and gentle transitions from summer to winter have long made this area of South Tyrol an ideal destination for wellness recovery and relaxation. Its world-renowned Revital Spa is set to reopen in February 2023 after undergoing a total renovation. Reimagined by interior designer, Michel Jouannet, the 1,200 m² spa has been completely redesigned from the massage cabins to the fitness room, common areas, hairdressing salon and boutique. Jouannet used materials such as Crema Marfil beige marble, Azul Cascais limestone and Afrormosia wood, in order to draw in more natural light and space, and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The former 25 massage cabins where Revital’s famous cupping energy massages are performed, have also been reconfigured into 18 more spacious and brighter cabins.
