In May 2024, there will be a newcomer to the Greek island of Paros. Welcome, Andronis Minois, the most recent addition to the family-owned hotel brand that owns a number of iconic hotels in Athens and Santorini.
A contemporary take on traditional Cycladic architecture, Andronis Minois is a vision in white. Its gleaming exterior celebrates the sunlight that beats down upon it until you head inside, retreating to the coolness, the calmness and the minimalist nature of its luxury interior. Contemporary as it may be, Andronis Minois is not without color. This isn’t a place of starkness and sharp angles, but of rich colors, mosaic patterns and softly sculpted furniture and objects. Designed to mirror the Mediterranean as a whole, you can expect terracottas from the terraces of Spain and Italy, deep teal and Moorish prints that whisk you to Morocco as well as plenty of references to classic Greek design from decorative urns and ampules to its natural material palette full of earthy, raw beauty.
Aligned with Andronis Hotels’ steadfast commitment to providing exceptional culinary experiences, the current fine-dining restaurant, OLVO, will undergo an exciting upgrade, transforming into an elevated lifestyle concept. Carved out of the hotel on a tiered landscape with jaw-dropping views of the sea, this revitalized space will bring new energy to the dining experiences on property upon its anticipated debut this spring.
Days at Andronis Minois are full of riches. Perhaps you’ll start with the smell of freshly roasted coffee in your sea-view suite (there are 44 in total, some with sea views, some with private pools, and all with terraces and luxurious touches from head to toe) as you sip your first espresso watching the sunrise from your sumptuous king-size bed.
Before breakfast, you could tiptoe over golden sands just 500 feet away to ride horseback across the beach, returning to be nourished with a delectable first meal served poolside. Collapse, book in hand, into one of Andronis Minois’ stylish and supremely comfortable sun loungers for the rest of the morning, and then skip along to the Aura subterranean spa for a much-deserved treatment (or two). Kite surfing, snorkeling and trips to nearby villages (the renowned Church of “Koimisis Theotokou” offers picturesque vistas from its basilica perched gracefully at the highest point in Naoussa, and is a day trip we’d definitely recommend) will fill your days here as much or as little as you please.
