Perched on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica’s renowned Peninsula Papagayo, THE HIVE stands as the epitome of luxury and seclusion. This private residence is a haven of beauty, adventure, and exploration, a place where groups of friends, couples, and multi-generational families come together to reconnect and immerse themselves in the natural wonders of Costa Rica.

A design aficionado’s dream come true, THE HIVE exudes a sleek modern aesthetic, seemingly floating gracefully between the sea and the sky. With a capacity of 16 guests, this magnificent home boasts six spacious bedrooms and an expansive area of 17,500 square feet, or 1,625 square meters. The property boasts an array of amenities, including an infinity pool, a screening room, a fitness area, a games area, a spa treatment room, a hammam, a show kitchen, and a chef’s kitchen. For the staff, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Dining at THE HIVE is an adventure in itself, with the residence’s full-time chef guiding guests through an array of gourmet dishes that focus on the freshest seafood and produce Costa Rica offers. In-villa experiences include mixology and cooking classes, local rum tastings, and sunrise yoga. THE HIVE also comes with a dedicated, full-time concierge who will plan activities such as zip-lining through the rainforest, hiking the volcano, deep sea fishing, and private surf lessons, while also acting as a sort of in-the-know, local guide to Costa Rica’s authentic culture.

All guests gain exclusive access to The Club at Peninsula Papagayo, which includes The Prieta Beach Club as well beloved Kids Club and other member-only facilities and programming. The surrounding Peninsula also offers an abundance of outdoor sports such as tennis, golf, mountain biking, bird watching, hiking, scuba diving, water skiing, Speer fishing, canoeing, and so much more.
