December 21st & 22nd, 2019:

Celebrate the Winter Solstice on Heckfield Place’s beautiful estate. Explore their 438 acres with walk and movement classes. Let your children join the magic of MUD & GUTS adventures and the Heckfield Tree Hunt. Into the evening, follow the light-guests will wind their way by candlelight to watch the moon and stars with Sirius Astronomy’s Paul Hill. Luxuriate with beautiful Cocktail-Shaking, Christmas Tea and Festive Movies each day.

December 23rd, 2019:

Christmas festivities continue with Estate Walks and Movement Classes, Christmas tea and Christmas movies as usual.

December 24th, 2019:

Ho ho hoof…Meet Father Christmas and his reindeer in the afternoon, before Christmas tea in the Drawing Room. Carol singers make a grand entrance in the Hall, followed by a delicious dinner in MARLE. Take a candlelit walk through their Winter Wonderland to find the Minstrel. Midnight mass in Heckfield church for those who wish. Christmas stockings for those who are good. During the day, enjoy activities from yoga and cycling to wildlife walks.

December 25th, 2019:

Traditional and cosy, join us for a heart-warming family time and delicious food. All gather in the Hall for a glass of Champagne before feasting on a beautiful Lunch in Marle. The afternoon includes Christmas cake and mince pies in the House with games and charades by the fireplace. Round off the evening with a festive movie in the dolby Atmos Screening Room. Activities available as usual in the morning-and later, for those who are still hungry, there is a supper in the Hearth.

December 26th, 2019:

Boxing Day fun and games feature movement classes, walks, along with archery and falconry to walk off yesterday’s feasting. Sporting events will be shown in the Screening Room.

December 27th-30th, 2019:

Between Christmas and New Year, partake in a range of Heckfield estate activities and movement classes, movies, and great food.

On December 28th, join in on the Annual Puppet Show.

December 31st, 2019:

A 6-course dinner at Marle is waiting to ring in the New Year followed by music and a party in the House and the Moon Bar. Look skyward to mark the end of 2019: enjoy Heckfield Place’s celebratory fireworks.

January 1st, 2020:

Join Heckfield for the perfect way to start 2020: good food and a movie.

January 4th, 2020:

The last of the Christmas period, come a-wassailing with other guests and the team. Join a traditional musical troupe to encourage an abundant harvest in the orchards, walking from the house down to the home farm.
