Airelles Courchevel, Les Airelles

Overview

An iconic 19th-century Austro-Hungarian castle reigning over France's Courchevel 1850, Les Airelles Courchevel is where winter dreams transform into reality. This majestic Palace hotel, with its hand-painted facade and snow-capped turrets, stands as a testament to timeless Alpine luxury. Here, in the heart of the Jardin Alpin, every detail weaves together to create an atmosphere of unparalleled mountain grandeur and intimate comfort.

For those who heed the call of the mountains, Les Airelles Courchevel offers privileged access to the soaring peaks and frosted forests of the acclaimed Trois Vallées. The hotel's exceptional ski room, operated by renowned outfitter Bernard Orcel, provides direct access to over 370 miles of pristine slopes from its privileged position in the Jardin Alpin.

Days here are spent exploring the magnificent terrain, but that's just the beginning of what awaits both body and spirit. Horse-drawn Hermès carriage rides through snow-dusted village streets, moonlit sledding adventures, heliskiing to untouched terrain offering magnificent views across both the French and Italian Alps, gourmet picnics at altitude, and restorative sessions in the La Mer spa – complete with its unique snow cave, hammam, and expert treatments – make checking out of Les Airelles Courchevel a genuinely difficult task.

Ski and boarding supremacy aside, one of Les Airelles Courchevel's greatest distinctions is its collection of gastronomic destinations. Under Executive Chef Adrien Trouilloud's masterful direction, the Palace offers seven exceptional dining experiences, from La Table des Airelles with its lavish buffets and house-made pastries to the intimate Italian refinement of Palladio. Le Coin Savoyard celebrates beloved regional specialties like fondue and raclette, while the elegant Bar hosts afternoon tea with live music. Beyond the Palace walls, three exceptional slope-side venues await — Nama at Aman Le Mélézin, where exquisite Japanese dishes from sushi to wagyu beef are served in sleek, golden-hued surroundings; Le Chalet de Pierres, a Courchevel landmark where heartwarming raclette and fondue are savored from its vast sun-drenched terrace; and the legendary La Folie Douce, Méribel, a high-altitude haven where world-class dining meets captivating cabaret entertainment.
