A First Look at Ellerman House’s Recent Refurbishments

Recently ranked as the #1 City Hotel in Africa in Travel + Leisure ‘World’s Best’ Awards, Ellerman House is set amidst one-and-a-half acres of lush botanical gardens and boasts an unparalleled owner’s private art collection with over 1,000 works, as well as a pool, spa, and private wine collection.

The property recently reopened following a two-month soft refurbishment and we have a first look inside the hotel, which is looking brighter and more beautiful than ever.

Those familiar with Ellerman House will notice updated décor and facilities in selected rooms and suites, as well as public areas of the property. This includes new carpeting, exterior and interior paintwork, and a soft refurbishment of the restaurant as well as a revamp of the much-loved Pantry. They’ve also added a ‘Polar Plunge’ pool to the Ellerman House Spa.
