The Mercer

Overview

The Mercer Hotel is Soho’s foremost luxury hotel, merging the charm of a historic building with the elegance of modern design. Throughout six floors, The Mercer boasts 73 loft-like rooms and suites with elegant, minimalist decor and an earthy color palette. They range in both size and design, from rooms to studios, suites, and penthouses, with options for interconnecting rooms and multi-room blocks. All feature oversized windows with abundant natural light and large marble bathrooms, and several also boast unique features like exposed brick walls, separate sitting areas, cozy fireplaces, or Juliette balconies.

The Mercer Hotel’s eternally-hip restaurant recently reopened as Sartiano’s, a dimly-lit modern Italian hot spot evoking a moody Tuscan wine cellar, helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef and Culinary Director Alfred Portale. For a more relaxed setting, Sartiano’s also serves upstairs in the bright and buzzy lobby café. The lobby library is the perfect spot for cocktails, appointed with plush inviting sofas and exposed brick walls lined with books.

The Mercer Hotel offers a plethora of amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center and an exclusive partnership with Chelsea Piers, and the property’s serene courtyard garden is a peaceful oasis amidst the urban hustle and bustle - a beautiful feature which many of their spacious rooms overlook. The Mercer’s talented concierge team is always on hand to offer sightseeing and shopping recommendations, snag hard-to-get dining reservations, and create itineraries personally tailored to each guest.

A true testament to New York City’s ever-enduring allure, the Mercer Hotel is a stylish blend of historic charm, contemporary luxury, award-winning dining, and thoughtful details, creating an atmosphere that is both warmly welcoming and undeniably cosmopolitan.
