Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona

Overview

Set in the heart of modernist Barcelona on the unbeatable location on Barcelona’s most stylish boulevard, is the magnificent Majestic Hotel & Spa. Surrounded by Gaudi’s masterpieces, a collection of prestigious boutiques and endless first-rate restaurants, this heritage hotel’s setting is nothing short of sublime, placing you at the elegant epicenter of Spain’s famous beachside city.

Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona first opened over a century ago in 1918 under the Soldevila-Casals family and ever since it has prided itself on reflecting luxury and comfort in every detail. The hotel even has its own signature scent – Musc Éternel– which captures the elegance and luxury of the hotel. Elegant marble bathrooms and a considered blend of neoclassical antique furniture aside contemporary touches are a promise in every room whether you’re staying in one of its grand suites or spacious residences.

On the top floor of the property, you will find the famous rooftop with one of the best views of the city and discover the Majestic Spa. Sink into its hydrotherapy circuit, floating between therapeutic hot jets in its jacuzzi, a rejuvenating steam bath and toxin-releasing dry sauna before booking into one of its treatment cabins for a restorative session with one of its expert therapists.

Naturally, the food and drink scene at Majestic is every bit as impressive. Championing seasonal, local produce at its farm-to-table Restaurant SOLC – harvesting happens daily a few kilometers away in the Maresme area. SOLC also serves a renowned and award-winning gourmet brunch on a Sunday devised by a star Michelin chef, Nandu Jubany.

La Dolce Vitae rooftop restaurant & bar is the perfect place in the heart of Barcelona to relax and enjoy traditional cuisine. With the best selection of drinks and music by our resident and international DJs, it's a unique and exclusive spot for meetings and entertainment.

Accommodations

Majestic by name, majestic by nature as evidenced by the capacious number of luxurious rooms available. In the hotel, there are 258 bedrooms, suites, and penthouses to pick between, all decorated with a largely neutral palette and with an abundance of natural materials — marble bathrooms and lots of linen upholstery — but with the occasional injection of pattern, like striped and checked wall coverings and beds in the Privilege suites.

Its crown jewel is the Majestic Royal Penthouse, the largest suite in the whole of Barcelona with views out onto Gaudi’s City. Not only is it stunning in footprint (it comes in at an impressive 5027 square feet), but guests in this particular suite have access to a 24-hour butler, a prestigious car and chauffeur, and three terraces each with a heated outdoor jacuzzi (you’ll even be able to see the famous La Sagrada Familia from one).

Across the street in the Paseo de Gracia – considered to be Barcelona’s most sophisticated avenue — are a further 28 apartments that range from one to four bedrooms. The Majestic Residences were designed for guests looking for completely customized comfort in a space that will feel like a home from home with full access to the hotel and all of its amenities.
