Overview

Discover Collection launches in 2026 as a private Members' community built around purpose-led experiences, regenerative development and a deep respect for the world's most extraordinary destinations. Founded by hospitality pioneer Bernhard Bohnenberger, the brand brings together a curated portfolio of intimate, highly distinctive properties set within breathtaking locales – from coastal resorts to mountain retreats, wilderness lodges to wine-making estates – each selected for its cultural richness and natural significance.

The first two destinations debut in 2026. Discover Collection Ras Amud opens in northern Oman, where 32 villas are spectacularly situated between the dramatic Hajar Mountains and the Arabian Sea. Later in the year, Discover Collection Lemomo opens near Kenya's Amboseli National Park, offering front-row views of Mount Kilimanjaro and immersive encounters with Maasai culture and the wildlife that defines Africa's iconic landscapes.

The collection will expand to encompass a dozen destinations by decade's end, spanning Bhutan's spiritual heartland and Albania's protected wetlands, Burgundy's Château de Pommard and Mexico's Caribbean Sea, Ireland's historic estates and Switzerland's alpine retreats, Greece's turquoise coastlines and the wildlife-rich river systems of Zambia and Botswana.

The properties themselves resist uniformity by design. Each location expresses its own character through local materials, regional crafts, and unique storytelling details. What connects them is a shared philosophy of mindful exploration – wildlife encounters that foster connection, culinary traditions shaped by local seasons, hands-on learning with artisans, elemental adventures by land, sea, and air, and wellbeing journeys drawn from both ancient wisdom and contemporary science.

Membership is central to the concept. Personal Curators tailor every journey, from pre-arrival touches to locally rooted activities, wellbeing programs, and cultural immersion. The connection continues long after checkout, with Members maintaining relationships with practitioners and experts who help weave new perspectives into daily life back home. As Discover Collection grows, opportunities for gathering are set to extend beyond the properties themselves, with an annual calendar of events planned to bring the community together for inspiring experiences designed by local and global tastemakers.

Beyond the extraordinary access, what makes Discover Collection's model distinctive is how deeply impact is woven into its DNA. The Discover Collection Foundation serves as the philanthropic engine, funded by a percentage of global revenues, donations, and royalty contributions. Each property maintains its own Local Impact Fund – 1% of gross operating revenue directed toward community, culture, and conservation priorities identified by those who actually live there.
