The new three and five nights wellness program is tailored by experts at Ananda aimed at helping you balance work and life while keeping your body’s natural biological clock and harmonizing the circadian rhythms in the mind.

 

New Rebalance Program:

The New Rebalance Program assesses your circadian cycle and works toward harmonizing natural biological clock and enabling systemic healing across the digestive and neuro-muscular system. Th circadian rhythm influences sleep-wake cycles, hormone release, eating habits and digestion, body temperature, and other important bodily functions. An irregular rhythm has been linked to various chronic heal conditions, such as sleep disorders, obesity, diabetes, anxiety and depression.

 

The Introductory 3-night Rebalance program starts with an assessment of appetite, digestion and evacuation. Specific Herbal supplements are provided to promote digestion and absorption. Treatments such as Abhyanga, Takradhara, and Grounding Aroma Therapy improve circulation and use Ayurvedic massage or lymphatic pressure point massage techniques help remove metabolic waste thereby improving Agni, soothing the nervous system, eliminate fatigue and improve sleep quality. Dinacharya or traditional Ayurvedic lifestyle guidelines on sleep, activity and eating patterns are followed. After this introductory 3- night program, you experience a better synchronization with the body’s natural biological clock and harmonize circadian rhythms.

 

The 5-night program  builds on the 3-night program. In the next two days, therapies such as a Manipura Massage stimulate and balance the solar ‘sun’ vitality within through reflexology and Marma massage, lymphatic drainage and applying Himalayan herb poultices to herb 10 petals of the solar plexus. The technique of Naranga Kizhi, a traditional Ayurvedic healing massage, removes unwanted waste from joints and musculo-skeletal system and Sadyo-Virechana (mild laxative therapy) if required is given to cleanse and evacuate the digestive system. After a 5-night program, you experience synchronization with the body’s natural biological clock and therapeutic relief from bloating, flatulence, fullness, constipation type digestive issues and swelling and stiffness.

 

 

Ananda Renew:

Going deeper than the skin, your body’s immune system naturally reduces in strength as you age. So aging affects immunity and, in turn, the changes in the immune system affect the aging process. With traditional wellness remedies and lifestyle changes, we can make the most of our bodies as we age and build immunity. The Ananda Renew program works on building skin health through skin cleansing and skin nourishment. It works to enhance and rebuild immunity and promote healthy aging through lifestyle modification and improving digestive and musculo-skeletal health.

 

The introductory 3-night Ananda Renew program uses therapies like Ananda Fusion, Ayurveda Tan Lepa herbal mask and Pizhichil massages to detoxify the skin and renovate underlying skin tissues while nourishing the skin by hydrating, lubricating, and rejuvenating skin cells. Afterwards, you experience cleansing and nourishing of the skin cells thereby improving the skin health and complexion.

The Ananda Activ-Fitness program integrates the best of indoor fitness workouts along with outdoor activities such as personal fitness training, outdoor boot camps, treks yoga, aqua fitness and therapeutic spa experiences to enhance muscle tone and cardiovascular fitness.

 

In partnership with Sumaya, a pioneer in the fitness industry, the programs are individualized, consultative and follow a goal orientated fitness approach.

 

Ananda’s new Activ-Fitness 3-night introduction program targets those who want to improve their fitness levels – be it intermediate or advanced. The program will also cater to those who are looking to lose weight through increased physical activity and monitored nutrition. The program will start with a detailed pre-arrival questionnaire and sharing personal information on their goals, injuries, medical conditions (if any), dietary restrictions and any other information which is required before the start of the program. The program aims for three hours of training a day, across individual sessions (fitness sessions or outdoor boot-camps sessions) and scheduled group sessions (aqua fitness, core strengthening, mobility, foam rolling and stretching). Rehabilitation sessions through physiotherapy and personal training session will be provided for any chronic injuries.

 

Nutrition consultation and diet planning is a key aspect of this program. Nutrition will focus on fueling workouts and assisting post work out recovery and will largely focus on foods that are high protein, low glycemic grains, high fiber, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates. Meals will be individually planned across all day, including pre-and-post workout snacks.
